Botanica Natural Products is an award-winning, family-owned social enterprise located in rural Limpopo, South Africa. Established in 2009, Botanica specialises in identifying, producing and supplying indigenous plant extracts in a socially and environmentally sustainable manner.
Botanica cultivates an indigenous South African plant, Bulbine frutescens (Asphodelaceae family), to produce speciality organically-certified plant extracts for cosmetic and dermo-cosmetic applications. Botanica's Bulbine frutescens organic leaf extract has natural and remedial benefits. It is soothing, healing, moisturising and contains anti-bacterial properties. Botanica's work promotes the sustainable use of indigenous plant species and shares benefits with local communities.

In February 2017, we exhibited for the first time at BioFach (world's leading trade fair on organic food) & Vivaness (natural personal care) in Numenberg in (Germany).
In April 2017, we exhibited at Incosmetics 2017 (the leading trading event for personal care ingredients) in London for the second time.
